The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with other platforms. It has advised users to examine their items and manually change the size when needed, resulting in member annoyance. Measurement Approach Modifications Before the change, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10. The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10. In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18. User Experiences A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. Stephanie Gallen, located in Scotland, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she explained.
